Duke Environmental offers a range of environmental services on the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane, including Air Quality Assessments that are tailored to meet client specifications. This project was done in accordance with the Brisbane City Council Air Quality Planning Scheme Policy. Our methodology employed was aimed at modelling potential emission outputs from low impact industry business types and comparing the results with the relevant code and policies. Our results of the assessment suggest that all the modelled air quality parameters achieve the air quality objectives at the nearest sensitive receivers (being the proposed
residential aged care facility). We did not consider there to be any related air quality issues exceeding thresholds that are associated with the existing and potential users of the industrial low-impact zone.
